This large and substantial antique Victorian gold locket has an oval design accented with an applied convex lobed interlacing snake design. The head of one snake is embellished with an impressive 0.30ct cushion cut ruby, and the other bears an impressive 0.13ct Old European round cut diamond. The posterior face of this hinged locket is plain and unembellished.
