A charming floral still life scene oil on canvas painting by the French artist, Johanne Schiefer. With pink, white, and purple flower arrangement in a clear glass vase, with some few petals that fell lying on the surface. This painting is a wonderful example of his work from the prime of his career with simple florals with an abundance of color and life. He traveled to paint across Europe, primarily France and Italy and also Latin America. Like Picasso, Schiefer never permitted himself to be “type-cast” in a single monotonous style.
