Jose Canepa Art
Jose Canepa was born in 1985 in Arequipa, Peru. He studied architecture at Catholic University of Santa María in Arequipa, Peru in 2005. He later studied Fine Arts at Brookhaven College in Farmers Branch, Texas. Canepa received his bachelors of fine arts from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2017. In 2016, he had a solo exhibit at the University of Texas at Arlington called Fear. He has been featured at the Latino Cultural Century, Dallas, Texas in 2017, the Assistance League of Houston Celebrates Texas Art, at the Williams Tower Gallery in Houston, Texas in 2017 and 2018, “The Color of Expression,” in Lancaster, Texas in 2017 and recently in 2019 at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center in Dallas, Texas.
