An exceptional, fine and impressive, antique Victorian English sterling silver cup; an addition to our Victorian silverware collection This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver presentation cup has a campania shaped form to a circular domed foot. The bulbous, shaped lower portion of this silver cup is embellished with impressive chased and embossed leaf and floral decoration. The plain tapering surface of the cup incorporates the contemporary engraved coat of arms depicting a chevron between three roses, barbed, seeded on a chief of the second a lion passant guardant between two closed books paleways, clasped and garnished of the last, the clasps to the dexter, all above the motto 'Virtus vera nobilitas' - Virtue is true nobility*. This exceptional antique Charles II sterling silver porringer has a circular rounded form onto a collet base. The surface of the porringer is embellished with an impressive chased hunting hound to one side and a stag to the other, all amidst large foliate designs and incorporating pinstruck swirl designs. This English silver porringer is fitted with two impressive cast, leaf decorated S-scroll handles with elevated figural shaped thumbpieces. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George IV English cast sterling silver vinaigrette; an addition to our diverse collectable silverware collection. This exceptional antique George IV cast sterling silver vinaigrette is realistically modelled in the form of a cornucopia. The cast silver horn-shaped cornucopia container is encompassed with bands of ribbed decoration, accented with a spiralling terminal. The rim of the horn is further embellished with a cast leaf decorated border. The upper portion of the horn is fitted with a hallmarked hinged cover embellished with an embossed and chased floral bouquet design. The cover opens to reveal the original hinged grille and gilt interior. The gilded grille is ornamented with a bright cut engraved and pierced decorated scrolling leaf design.
