Manchester-born Kevin Cummins has an international reputation as one of the world’s leading photographers and is famed for his iconic portraits of musicians including Joy Division, David Bowie, Nick Cave, Mick Jagger, Patti Smith and Oasis. In 1977, his photo of the Buzzcocks landed on the cover of the NME, launching a near 25 year affiliation with the magazine, including more than 10 years as chief photographer.to
