Léon Masson was a painter, illustrator, sculptor, creator of jewelry and decorative objects. Born in Simiane near Aix-en-Provence. Some of his works were acquired by the Louvre Museum in Paris. Masson produced sculpture for the Montreal Olympic Games in 1976. He also worked for the Dior house on decorative objects in eglomisé mirror and glass and on a collection of jewelry. This multifaceted artist expressed himself as well through painting, engraving, sculpture, decoration as illustrations of books.
