Lu Duble Ceramics

American, 1896-1970

Lu Duble, born Lucinda Davies, was an English-born American artist. She was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1937 and 1938, to study art and sculpture in Haiti. Lu Duble was perhaps the most prominent student at ARKO, and her work was exhibited in Pittsburgh in 1929, along with the work of other ARKO students.
