Elegant French Art Deco table lamp, made circa 1925 and combining a sculptural wrought-iron base with a refined alabaster shade. The design is built around a sophisticated contrast of materials. The dark, graphic wrought iron gives the lamp structure and visual strength, while the natural alabaster softly diffuses the light and brings warmth to the composition. The alabaster shade displays the subtle natural veining and tonal variations inherent to the stone, which become particularly attractive when the lamp is lit. The wrought-iron base adds a more architectural quality and reinforces the handcrafted character of the piece. Preserved in excellent condition, this lamp is a fine example of 1920s French Art Deco lighting, combining period craftsmanship, decorative restraint, and practical usability.
