This easy chair Cross is designed by the architect Marcello Cuneo for Arflex in 1974. The seat is born from a very simple idea: two chromium-plated metal tubes are bent into a U-shape and linked together by a light alloy joint. On the two structures the covers in thick fabric and black leather are slipped into and carry the cushions in black leather. Cuneo had a special mention at XII Compasso d’oro, in 1979, for this intuitive idea. In 2015 Arflex has made a re-edition of the armchair Cross which was represented at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. This vintage high version of the Cross chair...
