Meredith Walker Animal Paintings

American, b. 1990

Meredith Walker is a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose work blends the timeless allure of folk art with contemporary sensibilities. Drawing inspiration from nature, vintage textiles, and historical folk illustrations, her vibrant compositions evoke joy, playfulness, and reflection. Her original artworks on raw canvas have been exhibited at the leading affordable art gallery in Los Angeles, the Affordable Art Fair in New York, and in exhibitions across the United States. A graduate of the University of South Carolina with a BFA in Graphic Design, Walker began painting in 2019, developing a meditative practice that has since grown into a flourishing career. Her work is collected nationally and internationally, licensed globally, and has inspired collaborations with independent designers to create art-focused goods and accessories. Through her exploration of contemporary folk art, Meredith Walker transforms everyday inspirations into captivating works that connect the past and present.

Forest Lawn

By Jeff Nachtigall

Located in Bozeman, MT

Formalism collides with a punk rock, folk art sensibility in his pop culture mash-ups that explore the liminal space between the natural and built environment. The animal kingdom acts as our proxy. His paintings are noticeably devoid of the human figure, replaced by a colorful bestiary cavorting in landscapes that echo speculative fiction...
