This timeless and sleek coffee table was designed by Fatima Arquitetura e Interiores in the 1960s. This company was founded by Guilherme Nunes and Savio Visconti, both architects, in Rio de Janeiro. Their furniture pieces featured straight lines and excellent execution using rosewood, leather, natural fabrics and cane as primary materials. This rectangular coffee table consists of a thick ¾” glass top that is anchored by four ellipse-shaped solid rosewood legs.
The coffee table is showcased in our showroom next to a rocking chair, ottoman and sofa by Liceu de Artes e Oficios and two stylish armchairs by Bertomeu, and the vignette looks nothing less than spectacular.
A piece like this will not only look awesome in a mid-century modern space but also in a modern, contemporary or even minimalist style.
