This sophisticated Mid Century Modern dish was realized by the esteemed porcelain maker Moritake in Japan, circa 1930. It features an amorphic form- a slightly irregular circular shape- with a sunburst pattern emanating from a white center. The sunburst pattern consist of solid burnt persimmon and 24 karat gold bands with stylized geometric detailing within, all fastidiously hand painted. Additionally, there are three elliptical cut out ovals running along the curved sides.
