The modeller had studied at the School of Applied Arts in Dresden (Germany).
He was active on behalf of Meissen manufactory in the period of 1872-1925: The modeller was specialized on design of figurine groups, clock cases and vessels with figurines in Rococo style as well as - in later period - in Art Nouveau style. - The model O 199 was created in the year 1892.
