An impressive and high quality French 19th century Louis XVI st. Ormolu and Baccarat Crystal chandelier, after the model by Pierre Gouthière for Marie Antoinette. This truly gorgeous six light chandelier is centered by a berried acorn bottom finial hanging below an acanthus leaf spray that introduces the fluted central fut. Above the acanthus leaf spray are the six 'S' scrolled arms decorated with acanthus leaves and acorn finials below each arm leading to circular bobeches with dentil patterned edges. Above each bobeche are the berried foliate and fluted candle cups. Each arm is decorated by prism cut pendants around each bobeche and scalloped pendants...
