This safari Sirocco arm or lounge chair was designed in 1966 by the Swedish designer Arne Norell and produced by Scanform Colombia, which was a company making Norell furniture for America. Many of the Scanform edition chairs were exported to the USA and are very rare. More common is the European edition by Norell Furniture. Our Scanform example somehow found its way to Europe.
It has a wooden frame strapped together with dark brown leather straps and a removable leather cushion. In very good vintage condition with the original leather! Marked Scanform Colombia in the cushion.
