This piece is in uncommonly good condition--majolica is soft and easily crazes and chips--very difficult to find without issues. The is a tiny flake to the black rim that appears to have been darkened in many years ago--unnoticeable. Small glaze pop in the black portion of the basin which would have happened during firing--also not offensive.
