Emerging with a highly sought after, provocative series of the year Shawn Kolodny's gives you something to talk about. Drawing from a life spent amongst substance, addiction, and materialism, as the owner and operator of New York City’s most prominent nightclubs, he has been both the observer and the subject. For Kolodny, addiction is a pathological relationship in which things replace the self. Kolodny’s work confronts the infinite cycle of fake fulfillment shaped by modern society’s addiction to ego, using the most sought-after brands and the most addictive drugs as a visual medium.
Shawn Kolodny (born 1971) is an American artist, living and working in Manhattan, New York, and Miami, Florida. Kolodny received his Bachelor of Industrial Design from Syracuse University in 1994 and his MBA from Stern School of Business in 2010.to

Shawn Kolodny is an artist based in Miami, FL. For the past 15 years, he has created large scale installations for cultural institutions and private residences around the world. Kolodny’s work explores the beauty and geometric synergies of the natural world, and our relationship to our innermost thoughts.
His signature, playful works made of reflective steel spheres capture the symmetry, volume and balance present in both nature and design. These spheres are placed together to create new forms that reflect the vibrant and dynamic nature of the world around us, and the impact of our ever-changing perspective. Kolodny’s site-specific and shapeshifting installations construct a kinetic and immersive environment for viewers, creating space for moments of mindfulness and self-reflection within their experience. Transcending the traditional boundaries of art, the artist creates new worlds with each installation, that are at once both fantastical and organic. His practice seeks to encourage viewers to engage with the world around them in new, more meaningful and imaginative ways, inspiring a childlike wonder.
Kolodny’s innovative style has garnered international recognition, and led to collaborations with brands including House of Creed, Missoni, Snow Lodge at the St Regis Aspen, Paris Hilton, Four Seasons, BMF, and Pharell's Something In The Water Festival. He is represented by William Morris Endeavor.

This is a textile wall hanging tapestry "painting" made from vintage jeans.
JJ had a masters (MFA) from Prat and studied at Hunter college for many years. He was a master jeweler and goldsmith for 50 years, a musician and a photographer. He made a living working with photography, jewelry, bronze sculpture and antique restoration. An artwork in denim fabric by a French Post War & Contemporary artist living in New York City, Jean de la Verrière, An untrained, art brut, 'outsider' artist, now 85. He sold some of his denim patriotic flag works through OK Harris gallery in Soho in the 1980s, one went directly to Ralph Lauren, according to the artist. He is also known for sculpture. particularly his working model, fully functional guillotine sculptures. Artist says he was influenced by Pop Art particularly Robert Rauschenberg and Jasper Johns works. He was in the New York art world along with his artist friends Bernar Venet, Arman and Claude Gillie. He fabricated and cast jewelry for some of his friends. This has a Sterling Ruby feel to it but was done a generation earlier. IN A WHILE (2025) is a small-scale, wall-mounted mixed-media sculpture by Vera Vizzi that transforms a familiar domestic object into a sculptural encounter. Hand-modeled in foam clay and applied onto a compact wooden block (25 x 9 x 10 cm), the work is finished with layered acrylic paint and enamel marker decoration along the extruded “tube” form. The piece foregrounds tactile surface, color contrast (white base with red/yellow graphic motifs) and a vertical, relief-like silhouette that reads equally as objet d’art or a focused accent on a gallery wall.
Conceptually the work frames an everyday action — squeezing a tube — as a compressed temporal event: small gestures that compress time and meaning.
