Simona Weller (roma 1940) Italian painter, After classical studies from the Academy of Fine Arts with Ferrazzi and Mafai. In 1961 he married Roberto Veller. In 1964 he lived a few months in Madrid. During this period his painting was affected by surrealism of nature and by frequenting museums. Back in Rome, she becomes Cesare Vivaldi's companion with whom she attends the most interesting personalities of the literary and artistic world. He became Giulio Turcato's assistant at the chair of drawn figure and made his debut at the Rome Quadrennial in 1973 with large paintings of painting-writing, defined by critical mental landscapes. In 1976 he published the first research on Italian artists of the twentieth century. From this moment his pictorial research will always be accompanied by non-fiction and literary research, among the main works: Portrait of Angelica (1998), inspired by the life of Angelika Kauffman...
