This high quality display cabinet, by architect Fabrizio Smania for Studio Smania Interni from the “Serie Mitzar” line is made of veneered bird’s-eye briar wood, on the late 1970s early 1980s. In a striking golden yellow/lime hue, the tall cabinet houses four glass shelves, and is anchored by a two-door cabinet with generous storage space at the bottom. With Memphis Milano movement references. This is an extremely rare piece as they only did a very small production of these tall cabinets and this finish. The two doors have brass handles, and the glass shelves are fully adjustable - perfect for whatever shaped ornaments or trinkets you may have, big or small. Also available is a round dining table and a set of four Vienna straw rattan dining chairs in a similar finish and style - don’t hesitate to enquire if you would like to complete the set. These pieces usually wrongly attributed to these designers Fratelli Turri, Fratelli Orsenigo...
