Crashing Surf - Oil on Canvas Seascape, American Impressionist, Signed, Framed A beautiful plein-air seascape of crashing surf along the rocky Pacific coast by California artist Steven Guy Bilodeau (American, b.1957). Signed "S. Bilodeau" lower left corner; signed and titled on verso. Presented in a giltwood frame. Frame size: 20"H x 24"W x 2 "D. Canvas size: 14"H x 18"W Steven was born in Lewiston, Maine in 1957 and raised in Livermore Falls, Maine. He moved to California in 1984 and received basic art training at the San Francisco School of Art. He also has trained extensively with the nationally known plein-air painter Armand Cabrera. His other major influences are Maynard Dixon and Edward Hopper. Steven now resides in Kelseyville California overlooking beautiful Clearlake.
