This exceptional antique Georgian sterling silver soup ladle has been crafted in the Old English Bright-cut Edge pattern. The anterior surface of the handle is embellished with an undulating engraved border. This fine example of silver cutlery has a plain rounded bowl. The reverse of this antique silver ladle features a rounded heel to the bowl and the contemporary bright cut engraved initials 'S'. Such examples crafted by the renowned and collectable female silversmith Hester Bateman, in this high quality, are becoming increasingly difficult to locate; this ladle is the finest of its type you could hope to acquire. This exceptional antique Georgian sterling silver tea caddy has an oval form. The surface of the tea caddy is encompassed with bright cut engraved fabric swag designs and floral festoons, suspended from impressive spiralling foliate anchor-points accented with pensile bud designs. Each spiralling motif flanks a shield shaped cartouche displaying the contemporary engraved initials 'WM' and surmounted with a ribbon style bow. This fine antique George III sterling silver cream jug has an oval shaped form. The surface of the incurved panelled body is plain and embellished with a bright cut engraved oval carotuche to either side, one side bears the contemporary engraved initials' and the other remains vacant.
