In particular this is a reinterpretation of the painting "View of the Tiber with Castel Sant'Angelo and San Pietro in the background" by Vanvitelli. Taken from the left bank of the river, the view has its focal point in the circular mass of Castel Sant’Angelo, the pontifical fortress built on the central core of Hadrian's mausoleum and enriched with ramparts and patrol paths overlooking the water.
