Urszula Tekieli was born in 1979 in Kraków, Poland. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts in Kraków in 1999 and from the Institute of Art in Cieszyn of The Silesian University in graphic design in 2005. She is inspired by the paintings of Tamara Łempicka, Nowosielski and Stryjeńska as well as the Art Deco graphics. Tekieli’s interests revolve around the broadly understood art of the interwar period. Her paintings are in several galleries and private collections in Poland, Europe and the USA. Currently, she is working on paintings and graphic design in Kraków.
