Small turned feet support a thoroughly geometric structure. The only decorative elements on the doors are two mirrored glass panels that echo the cabinet's overall volume in a scaled-down format. These bedroom furniture pieces were designed in 1938 by Paolo Buffa for Casa A. in Cunardo, Varese, Italy. Characteristic elements of Buffa's entire body of work are evident in these pieces. Significant emphasis is placed on chestnut wood, chosen for its rich grain, which arabesques harmoniously across the smooth surfaces with its natural texture.
