This is a good late 19th century pewter sauce or gravy boat with good reeded detail made by Walker & Hall of Sheffield, England with a full set of stamped marks to the base for the period. This sauce boat has a lovely rounded body with a single pouring lip, a double "C" cast loop handle and sits on an oval pedestal foot having reeded detail to the base rim. This piece has a lovely mellow patinated colouring only seen on old pewter. Various Walker & Hall manufacturers markings are stamped on the base of the foot with punched or impressed numbers "49" and "1021" also present. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver six piece condiment set in the Art Deco style - boxed; an addition to our dining silverware collection. This exceptional antique George V sterling silver six piece condiment set consists of two salts, two pepper pots and two mustard pots. The pieces of this fine condiment set have a hexagonal panelled form, in the Art Deco style. The surface of each piece is unembellished with a plain moulded to the border upper rim and encompassed with applied gadroon decoration to the lower rim. The mustard pots are fitted with angular sterling silver handles with a subtly protruding plateaued thumbpiece. Each mustard pot has a hinged hallmarked plain panelled domed cover. The pepper pots are fitted with push fit hallmarked covers with pierced 'pepper' holes. The covers to each of the mustard pots and pepper pots are surmounted by a sterling silver panelled urn style finial.
