Will Day Art

American, b. 1971
William Day is an American painter known for his large-scale compositions of colorful shapes and energetic marks. Now living in Boulder, Colorado, Day can often be found in his studio working on multiple pieces at the same time. His process leads him to create paintings in series, each focusing on different nuances of the human experience. His works are comprised of textures and complex layers demonstrating his interaction with a canvas in a moment. These series of paintings all nod to certain periods of Day’s life that bring years of intensity, joy, spirituality, conflict and resolution to the canvas. Day begins each new work by rolling unprimed raw canvas out on the floor. Primarily working with oil and acrylics, he creates textures and layers with various tools, discovering relationships between the colors and the unexpected structures.

A 400 day clock, also known as an anniversary clock, is a clock that uses a torsion pendulum mechanism to keep the time. A precisely weighted wheel turns around the base of the clock, like a pendulum that turns, rather than swings. This clock is called a 400 day anniversary clock, because it is said to go 400 days without winding, or can simply be wound on an anniversary, once a year. Browse an array of 400 day anniversary clocks from top sellers on 1stDibs.

On the other hand, 18-karat and 14-karat gold are more durable and better suited to frequent wear. No matter the type, you should generally remove your gold earrings before swimming, showering, using hair care products or doing any activity that could cause them to get snagged or bumped.
