These antique condiment shakers are embellished with embossed and chased decoration reproducing the details of the pigs' skin and anatomical features. Each piece retains the original, hallmarked screw fit cover/stopper to the underside of the animal's torso. The head of each pig is embellished with corresponding pierced 'salt and pepper' holes. These fine antique George V sterling silver menu card holders have circular shaped bases. Each piece is surmounted with an impressive wishbone* shaped design with a paralleling shaped support. The subtly convex bases are encircled with an elevated scalloped border. The weighted bases of these impressive menu holders are fitted with green baize to the underside.
