About the Item

An exceptional, fine and impressive, antique Edwardian English sterling silver pepperettes modelled in the form of birds; an addition to our collectable silver collection These exceptional antique cast sterling silver pepperettes are realistically modelled in the form of birds. These Edwardian silver pepperettes are embellished with details reproducing the birds' feathers and anatomical features. Each piece retains the original, hallmarked push fit head/cover. The head of each bird is embellished with pierced 'pepper' holes. Condition These antique Edwardian silver pepperettes are a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Full hallmarks struck to the sleeve of each cover are clear in keeping with age. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these pieces of silver animal antiques. The base bears the registration number 'REGD No 490421', in addition to the full hallmarks.
