Concerned with environmental issues, Xavier Dumoulin reveals, with his photographs, a growing dichotomy between man and his environment. Light pollution, globalization, climatic change... his photographs perfectly depict the Anthropocene, the current era in which human activity has been the dominant influence on climate and the environment. Xavier Dumoulin has received several awards for his photography: public award Dahinden and solo exhibition at Paris Photo in 2022 with the series “Incandescences”, finalist in Bourse du Talent 2016 with the series «Limites», Jury’s prize at Hiiibrand Photography (China) in 2013, Fubiz prize and laureate at Photocollection in 2012, rewarded by the municipality of Paris at the “Urban photo” contest in 2011.
