About Amitābha Studio

Founded by husband and wife creative duo, Davide Piai & Kimberly Poppe, Amitābha Studio creates one-of-a-kind luxury lamps from antique and vintage ceramics. The name means "limitless light" in Sanskrit. Davide is an Italian craftsman with a passion for creating beautiful things. Kimberly is an American artist and interior designer educated at Parsons and Sotheby's Institute of Art. Together, they transform historical ceramics into functional art. Started in Amsterdam in 2021, the studio now calls Sitges, Spain home, incorporating both Dutch and Spanish ceramic heritage.
