About Atena
About Atena
Galerie Atena was founded in 2001 by Frederic Sioufi and Nidal Ouaiss. Their original Paris showroom was in the Louvre des Antiquaires, which is known by decorators and collectors worldwide. As this location is currently under renovation, Galerie Atena has relocated a selection of its Antique furniture and outstanding pieces to a Hotel Particulier (an elegant private home), whereas Design and Vintage items are exhibited in their house located in Le Vesinet (an exclusive suburb of Paris). Atena’s other items such as Decorative Objects, Jewelry and Collectibles are exhibited in a gallery located in Paris at 8 rue de Miromesnil, 75008. Galerie Atena welcomes appointments to visit the 3 showrooms. About the Founders Frederic and Nidal form a dynamic couple that are partners in life as well as in the passion for their profession. Together they patiently select each item for their gallery based on its beauty, authenticity, and condition. They share a passion for the discovery of new objects, and they do not hesitate to invest in unusual pieces, treating them as a fresh adventure. Their greatest satisfaction is to share the pleasure of their discoveries with their customers while building lasting relationships based on mutual trust and appreciation. Nidal was born into a family of antique dealers, and she naturally specializes in French Antiques and decorative objects, whereas Frederic specializes in Design and 20th century high end items.
