Vintage articulated desk lamp manufactured by Lupela in Spain during the 1970s, retaining its original manufacturer’s label. The lamp features a highly functional articulated structure composed of a double metal arm with exposed tension springs, allowing the height, reach and angle of the light to be adjusted to different positions. The large dome-shaped metal shade is also adjustable, providing precise directional illumination. Its combination of mechanical construction, exposed joints and restrained industrial aesthetic reflects the functional approach characteristic of European task lighting of the period. The substantial circular base provides stability while allowing the articulated arm to extend considerably over a desk or work surface. Finished in a sophisticated grey-brown metallic tone with contrasting metal components. The lamp retains the original “LUPELA – Made in Spain” label on the lower articulation, an important detail confirming its manufacture. In very good overall vintage condition, with minor signs of age and use consistent with its period. The articulated mechanism operates correctly and the lamp was functioning at the time of cataloguing. Dimensions: approximately H 70 cm × shade diameter 25.5 cm (27.6 × 10 in). Exceptional Murano glass table clock produced by Barovier & Toso in Italy during the 1950s–1960s. The piece is composed of a substantial circular ring of hand-blown Murano glass executed in filigrana technique, featuring an internal white lattimo decoration arranged in a continuous helical pattern.
