Part of J DAUPHIN's As Above So Below collection, the bracelet references the Hermetic principle describing the correspondence between the celestial and earthly worlds. Black enamel was widely used in Victorian jewelry, particularly in mourning and sentimental pieces, often combined with gold and gemstones. Labradorite has traditionally been associated with intuition, transformation, and spiritual protection. The circular form of the bangle references continuity and eternity, connecting antique symbolism with contemporary jewelry design. J DAUPHIN was founded in 2006 by Swedish-French designer Johanna Dauphin. Her design background includes FENDI and TOD’S in Italy, followed by work across Paris, New York, and Los Angeles. Her collections draw on Victorian jewelry, antique religious and celestial iconography, ancient symbols, and traditional artisanal techniques. Her work has appeared in Vogue, W Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and Marie Claire, and has been carried by Bergdorf Goodman, Le Bon Marché, Matches Fashion, Lane Crawford, H Lorenzo, United Arrows, Isetan, and Harvey Nichols. She has created jewelry for musicians and actors including Keith Richards, Def Leppard, Brandi Carlile, and Uma Thurman. Each piece is handmade using traditional artisanal methods.
