With a machine of his own invention, Foggini melted methacrylate, and later polycarbonate, at 200°C transforming it into a filament that he then moulds with his hands creating luminous shapes and monumental artworks: labyrinths of colored light, blurring the boundaries between art and design. “The speed of execution is almost the same as that for the glass, however with my materials I can mould monumental artworks that are extremely lightweighted”.
