About May Furniture

MAY is a Brooklyn-based furniture company established in 2012 by multi-disciplinary artist and craftsman, Travis James. We offer an original collection of furniture, lighting, accessories, and a unique wall paneling made in our own proprietary material, Compressed Hardwood. This 100% wood material, resembling polished stone, is developed through our own unique and intricate process in order to achieve its final finish. MAY's designs are derived from historical, modern, and Brutalist architectural references, pairing utility with high art.
