About Sister By Studio Ashby
Sister is a design brand with heart and soul. Born in 2020, the brand brings Sophie Ashby’s curatorial eye and designer’s hand into a world of furniture, textiles, objects and artworks. Collections of furniture are designed by Sophie and our team, and made to order by hand with our extended family of workshops and fabricators. In six years, Sister has established a cult following in the design industry as a brand of exceptional quality with a zest for life.

The Toucan is as comfortable and versatile as it is fun. The chunky upholstered top balances on two sturdy timber plinth style feet, inspired by modernist forms and the uniquely shaped beak of a Toucan bird. Ideal for the foot of the bed, or beneath a sunny window for Sunday afternoon reading.
Upholstered in our Patchwork fabric in a cerulean blue. The Patch range builds out on firm favourites with new energetic, striped colouring, woven by hand with the same craft of centuries gone by. The Patch fabric in Cerulean sky blue broken by solid stripes of gold and ochre contrasted with a flecked mahogany.
