With a focus on the unexpected, Zachary A. uses a mastery in materials and mold-making to design and hand cast artful, lightweight furniture pieces. Founded by Zac Bitner and based in Chicago, we combine an approachable art sensibility with a deep expertise of the materials we work with. We push the boundaries of material finish and refine age old production techniques to be used in modern furniture designs.

We convert drawings to single use molds to cast resin into. After the resin has cured, the paper mold is chipped away and destroyed to reveal the cast transferred drawing. These pieces are seemingly fragile and ephemeral, but physically permanent.
Intended for indoor / outdoor use.
