A Beautiful Hand-Crafted Victorian 19th Century Mahogany, Veneered Cigar Humidor Box Manufactured by HL Savory & Co. Ltd. of 178 New Bond Street, London. (Very renowned shopping address in London)
Handmade humidor box has a chamfered edge top with a hinged lid opening to reveal a partitioned interior with grid to the lid with a working key and silk key swing.
Raised on flat wooden corner feet.

H.L. Savory were established in London in 1885 and traded until taken over by Alfred Dunhill in 1938.
The box was produced for H. L. Savory & Co who were cigar importers and cigarette manufactures. They had a royal warrant by special appointment to the H. R. H. The Prince Of Wales, H. M. King Edward VII, H. M. The King Of Italy, H. M. The King Of Spain and H. M. The King Of Portugal. They were also granted an imperial warrant of appointment to H. M. The Emperor Of Japan.
