About the Item
A refined antique French tea caddy from the end of Napoleon III. The box is beautifully inlaid with different types of wood and brass, outside around a bronze rim. Inside two tea boxes made of Birdseye maple wood, the lids have inlay of colored horn. The tea caddy is in good condition, with working lock. Overall it has a nice old patina.
