About the Item
Shell-shaped box in solid 800 silver completely handmade.
The lower part and the lid have been shaped and chiseled by faithfully copying the veins and structure of the Chlamys shell and then joined by a hinge.
Under the box, three seahorses have been welded, acting as the feet, this to raise the shell from the surface on which it is placed.
The interior has been finely gilded to highlight the box when it is opened.
Italian silverware, already with a centuries-old tradition, had a great development in the twentieth century and produced pieces of the highest quality that the whole world envies us. Italian craftsmanship had a kind of new Renaissance after the war.
Thus was born a large number of high quality silverware where exceptional pieces are produced that today decorate the most prestigious houses.
