The Hercules Scarab box is a best seller at Ginger Brown.
This piece is made in lost wax cast brass with a bronze patina. The brass lid is covered in shagreen.
That box has been realized from a real scarab. The famous Dynastes Hercules from the family of the rhinoceros beetle, native of the rainforests of Central America and South America.
It is the longest extant species of beetle in the world, and is also one of the largest flying insects in the world.
The color of the shagreen is natural (Our ref ANTIC).
This piece can be made in various shagreen colors.
