REDA AMALOU DESIGN
Reda Amalou Design is a Paris-based contemporary furniture house. Its work is grounded in an approach that could be described as an Architecture of Objects. Each piece is conceived as a composition on a smaller scale, where lines, proportions and structure are brought into careful dialogue. The forms are restrained, the volumes balanced, shaped by a constant sense of elegance and precision. The design language is expressed through demanding materials such as wood, lacquer, leather and bronze, crafted by artisans with exceptional skill. Each object reveals a subtle interplay of textures and finishes, within an aesthetic that is both minimalist and timeless. Originally trained as an architect, Reda Amalou founded AW2 over 25 years ago, an architecture studio now internationally recognised for its work. That experience has shaped a vision of design deeply connected to space, where each piece finds its place with a natural sense of ease. More than furniture, each creation is conceived as a quiet presence, bringing balance and precision to an interior. Several pieces have recently been acquired by the Mobilier National for its permanent collection.
