Large Old Paris Porcelain Bombé Shaped White Glazed Box-Hinged and Footed
About the Item
Large Old Paris Porcelain box with a white glaze in the form of a bombé commode. The top panel is of a nude woman with two dogs. The front panel is of frollicking putti's. The nicely gilt hinged frame has a laurel wreath and bow thumb latch. The legs are cabriole shaped and typically Louis XV style.
This box is obviously decorative, but would also serve nicely as a jewelry box.
