An amazing high quality piece decorated in polychrome enamel posies of flowers, a rare shape with elongated rounded lid and base mounted on bronze bent metal feet and side handles - Often boxes like this show stress on the metal hinges and catches -due to the weight of the glass - but this has been well protected for 130 years and is in amazing condition.
