About the Item
Large biscuit box entirely handmade starting from a raw sheet of 925 silver.
The body was hammered into a rectangular shape and then the bottom was soldered.
A leaf and berry motif was embossed on all four sides of the box.
The lid, also hammered by hand, perfectly follows the shape of the biscuit box.
A half-round silver wire handle was soldered to the top of the lid ensuring a secure grip.
The inside of the box was finished with a satin 24kt gold plating.
Made in Florence - Italy in a historic silversmith's workshop at the beginning of the 20th century for ARVAL ARGENTI VALENZA
