To the left and right of the dial we see two nymphs made of silver-plated bronze on a green onyx step against a background of grey Sainte-Anne marble. The main focus is on the lady with a parrot crowning the clock. The glazed dial with its rectangular, silver-plated bezel is set against a beige veined marble plate. Black hands and black numerals against a silver background ensure that the time is easy to read. The winding bezel is located on a guilloché brass surface. The signature on the dial, which is difficult to read, was certainly not made by the clockmaker but probably by the jeweller who sold the clock.
