Stunning Pair of French Ormolu and well figured Breche Violet Marble Twin Arm Decorative Sidepieces of generous proportions, modelled in the Art Deco Style but possibly made earlier. The unusual triangular formed main supports below an ornate ormolu socle, capped with finely cast pineapple finials and ending on a square stepped base raised on four toupie supports. Condition: Good condition for such early pieces with no losses to ormolu, which has been professionally re-gold plated. There is an old very small loss to marble of one at the side, not easy to notice. Height: (entire as shown on image one an impressive) 12.75" (32.5cm). Width: (at base) 3.5" (9cm).
