Rural Modern Glass Studio
The Rural Modern Glass Studio is the first art-glass studio in India, exploring glass blowing and other glass production techniques to produce glass art, tableware, lighting, furniture, and accessories. The studio also looks to democratize glass as a material to Indian designers and the glass enthusiast community through production support for custom glassware and community workshops. The studio combines the skillfulness of Arjun Rathi & Ismail Plumber who have expertise in Lighting Architecture & Glass Art respectively. Various artists from around the world come to Rural Modern Glass Studio, to help us democratize and build a culture of art-glass in India. The exhibition showcases a selected body of works by Brent Sheehan, Jeremiah Jacobs, Anjali Singh, Tim Soluna, and Matthew Piepenbrok who are also helping us upskill our indigenous artists
