Antique English Edwardian Period R.A Lister & Co. Standing Bucket
Antique English Edwardian Period R.A Lister & Co. Standing Bucket

Antique English Edwardian Period R.A Lister & Co. Standing Bucket

By R.A. Lister & Co., Ltd. 1

Located in Forney, TX

A scarce Edwardian period R.A Lister & Co. oak standing bucket (wine cooler / plant stand) from the early 20th century, having brass double banded accents, gracefully rising on fitted tripod form base, with three gently curving cabriole legs joined by medial shelf stretcher. circa 1905 Born in Dursley, England in the early years of the short Edwardian reign, this charming standing bucket features a European old world wood stave barrel body, with elegantly aged rich antique oak colors, warm rustic tones, wonderful grain patterns, and beautiful patina, banned behind two nicely patinated horizontal gilt brass braces. As interesting and attractive as it is useful, the versatile bucket mounted stand can be used a variety of ways, including as functional decor in a wine bar or fine restaurant, serving, using a galvanized pail filled with ice as a freestanding table side champagne - wine bottle chiller, as a decorative country accent piece filled with fresh cut or dried flowers, filled with flowers as a indoor or outdoor porch planter - plant stand, or even outside as a farmhouse style garden ornament. Adorned with its original "R.A Lister & Co. Ltd" metal tag on the inside, this charming antique English oak bucket...

1940s Art Deco Oak Wood and Brass French Wine Cooler by G. Lafitte

Located in Aci Castello, IT

An amazing oak and brass wine cooler hand-crafted in France by Geraud Lafitte for Abel Le Pitre in the Forties, it's in original condition with normal signs of use and age, marked on a side Geraud Lafitte " Meilleur ouvrier de france 1933 ". It exhibits characteristics of the Art Deco style popular during that era. Art Deco featured geometric shapes, bold lines, and luxurious materials. This wine cooler has a smooth, curved design, made from oak wood and accented with brass elements. The use of quality materials like oak and brass would align with the craftsmanship typical of the Art Deco period. On a side there is a large brass label of champagne Abel Le Pitre in Reims, on the other side one with Prince A. the Bourbon Parme. The detachable internal part is in aluminum. Early 19th Century Regency Period Mahogany Sarcophagus Wine Cooler

Located in Petworth,West Sussex, GB

Wonderful Early 19th-Century Regency Mahogany Sarcophagus Wine Cooler or Cellarette A superb early 19th-century Regency period mahogany wine cooler, or cellarette, of sarcophagus form, crafted in striking flame Cuban mahogany and retaining its original removable zinc lined interior. Of coffered, architectural design, the piece features reeded and canted corners with inset panelled sides on all four faces, creating a strong, elegant silhouette. It is raised on bold, finely carved lion’s paw feet, and still standing on the original brass castors, allowing it to be moved with ease. Inside, the original zinc (or lead) liner with a pair of brass swan neck handles remains intact, a mark of both quality and authenticity. The overall form, use of richly figured mahogany, and the distinctive carved paw feet are closely associated with leading Regency cabinetmakers such as Gillows of Lancaster London, to whom comparable examples are often attributed. English, circa 1820, this is a wonderful quality Regency cellarette...
