Born in the Champagne region of Northeastern France in the early 20th century, hand-woven construction, heavy-duty industrial quality, having a oblong oval shaped body with tilt to one side for pouring, a pair of reinforced handles, and two sides painted with the initials LF for the vineyard it belonged to.
